WAR....Hell or Haven

This thread is pretty general in subject....

Just looking for good formation tips/tactics, good stories, or anything about your previous mmorpg wars that you'd like to share. 

Formations:

We used to use a general pyramid type of formation  3 or more melees in front row- tanks obviously-  "the wall that holds the masses at bay"

2 or more magic users in the middle- buffing, debuffing, healing, and occasionally kicking a lil' ass-  "the life support for the groups body"

1 or 2 archers in the very back row- sniping from a safe distance, making sure the masses don't pile on our tanks too bad  "the muscle"

  3. Archers                         A A

    W=MAIN TANKS

    p=secondary tanks (pallys etc.)

    C=healers

    M=magic users

    A=Archers

    S=miscellanious, (shamans, necros etc).

    kinda sounds like the way my uo guild lines up when are defending against large groups. being attacked by 5 guilds is so lame.

    in daoc its usually something like this in battlefields... A=archers T=tanks R=rogues(infiltrator/scout) C=casters


    TTTTTTT
    R R R R R R
    AAA (bushes) C C C C C
    AAA (bushes) T T T A

    on the 3rd battlefield anyway, all the others can be pretty desolate...

    blah wut the hell, that got all messed up. the archers with bushes next to them are supposed to be farther to the left. and the tanks and rogues are right over top of casters.

    Hey bum, where you playing AC when the white rabbit (aka pookie) raided the one town in the bottom left of the badlands?(can't remember town's name) 

    It was great!!  One little white rabbit causing complete anarchy in town, chasing people while they scream "SOMEONE HELP!!" and spamming "HELP, HELP, HELP."  People jumping through the town portal like nobodies business.  I never saw a town clear out so fast.

    BUT, the biggest upset was when (after ravaging the town) it then camped the Life Stone right there in town!!  It would kill like 3-4 people with Bunny Smite and they were binded right there!  LMAO- talk about your 3-4 repeated deaths.  My mage friend kept a summoned portal open for us encase we had to bail- we wanted to stick around as long as possible and watch "Wrath of Pookie"- LOL

    rofl, u serious dude? and yea i hate how like every mmorpg has rabbits or rats or bats as the monster u fight for the 1st like 20 lvls. i want to be fightin big monster right away, they dont have to be hard, just big. gives ya an ego boost dont cha know. i read that on some game science site.

    yea, i've played AC since it first came out, and played for little over 3 years.  The town's name is ayan baquar(or something like that) yea, and I loved the first 2 years of the game, when there was only few people over lvl 126.

    Oh yea, and I used to bring the white rabbit over a few times too =)

    (for anyone who doesn't know, the white rabbit is a super strong monster from that movie, quest for the holy grail or something like that, the one with the knights of ni)
