Having trouble getting my Pre purchase code

  Also, I hate stuping to buying from Ebay unless I have to, so I was wondering if anyone else who has ordered Guild Wars 2 from Amazon within the last few days has gotten their code? Because I'm wondering if Amazon is just out all together since GW2 comes out any day.

   

  Any answers are appreciated, I just don't want to miss out on the Heroes band, and hopefully at least get 1 day headstart.

  Pre-purchase codes will only get you the one-day head start. You need to pre-purchase to get the 3-day headstart and heroes band.

  Cancel everything. Go to ANET and order. Done. Unless you're one of those need a box nuts and then I don't know what to tell you.

  you should have stuck with Gamestop, I have had 2-3 friends in the last week have this issue and as soon as they pressed the point they got helped.. simply tell them you want your damned 3 day code as promised. One friend went to their customer service line and it was emailed to him, the other just said "hey wasnt I supposed to get a code?" and both have theirs. However if you dont care about the box then the other poster is correct.. go to anet.

  I went to my local Gamestop when they first announced the prepurchase deal in april, got the Collectors edition, the only issue I had was they had not recieved the codes yet, which they let me know and they said they would call me when they got them, they called me an hour later and I was able to go in and get my code. Went in to same gamestop today to pick up a regular prepurchase copy, and got a reciept stating 3 day head start and hero band, I also had asked if they where going to stop doing the 3 day headstart deal as that was the reason I had come in, in case they stopped doiing it, and he said he was pretty sure they where doing it till at least the 25th. Not sure what your gamestops issue is but you should not have any issue getting a code from them, as it is should just print on your prepurchase reciept like both mine have done. But if you have a credit card I would just order through Anet.

  that sux...

  i think i posted a similar thread that happened to 3 of my friends. They gathered and pre purchased 3 physical copies on one order from Amazon and they got only one code. The owner of the account emailed Amazon explaining the situation and that they are missing two other codes for the other two friends.... Amazon replied back saying that it is only allowed 1 code per household, which is pretty stupid because they are not even family and they dont live together, they only used 1 account to buy everything on one order so now only one of my friends will play the headstart.....thanks amazon...

  I will use their bad experience to never place an order with more than one item of the same type..... at least not from Amazon

   

  EDIT: i was trying to get my friends to cancel it and get a refund from amazon but and get the digital version from ANET but they want the box.... and theres no gamestop in my country so they gotta use amazon.... oh well
