I looked my wife dead in the eye yesterday and told her "Hunny i quit my job last night....GW2 is comming out this weekend so i dont want to hear no complaining how ur hungry and need money for food. All we need is right here! (Looks at computer and sighs..).
This morning she handed me the forclousure notice and divorce papers.........
It's going to be after midnight for me when the game launches, so I won't be doing any snacking. Besides that I'm against unhealthy snacking, especially when gaming. I will be having a few celebratory drinks though. Probably vodka and ginger ale.
I'll be pounding beers so I don't want anything heavy screwing up my buzz lol. I see people posting about making chicken pot pies & 40 lbs of ribs on thursday night in prep for the weekend and i have to assume they are not drinkers or they are like 400 lbs. I'll have a block of stinky provolone , some nice crusty bread and maybe a hard salami ( Ok let me have it, I set myself up on that one) along with a a bag of pretzals and a 12 pack of Corona's, You know , good beer food.
Restocked my Cigar Box and picked up a bottle of Scotch. The old lady has given me free rain for 72 hours. No shower, no shaving, No trips to the mall. Just drinking and smoking. I can live with that.
Not as lucky as the rest. Have to work this weekend :-( But you can be damned sure I will be bringing my laptop with GW2 installed, chillin' in Tyria with the rest of ya.
I can't even figure out what my main will be, let alone actually prepare anything else. I'll just keep focusing on figuring out my names, my classes, my races and hope the wife takes the time to feed and water me.
