I think an mmo of this game would work great, i think since the revolution will have online capabilities this may actually become reality.

Hell no!

How about a Ghostbusters mmo? Make different weapons and cars, go out blasting thousands of different ghosts, saving girls from evil monsters (and thanking you in there own spesial way)....now THATS a game I would like to see.

Why not? You don't really state why that wouldn't work...

Well I think it would.. There is a big world made already, skills, etc etc... So why not

But people migth just ignore it because it's kinda childish.. All we need is a developer..

Actually, there's already a Pokemon MMO in development. Can't remember the link though. I'll try and find it, and post it here later. But yeah, it's actually a good MMO concept, with people running around as trainers.

Yeah it's a bit childish, I remember playing the TCG and the video as a Kid. Anyways it might be a fun harmless break from the more serious games, and the real world.

A pokemon MMO hey... that would be so amazing the game boy games were acctually decent and thinking a MMO version that would be so cool! I would never acctually think of that... WICKED!!!

All you no sayers... what is the problem? Why can't you say why it wouldn't work instead of just "hell no" - tough-guys-dont-play-pokemon.. if you can't say whats wrong with the idea, theres obviusly nothing wrong with it!

I had many ideas about how this would work, Guilds = Gyms, ie the world is massive, gyms and badges would be plenty, instead of the best guilds having PHAT LOOT^TM the gyms would have to be really good to try and stop people from getting their badge.

People could look at your profile and see what badges you have taken etc. Character classes would be associated to certain types of pokemon but it wouldnt be too much of a difference ie 10% greater chance of catching a fire pokemon if thats what you chose to specialise in.

yeah, pokemon mmo could be fun, level up your pokemon like you level up your characters in normal MMo's and go out and battle other pokemon trainer o/

could be quite fun

There should be a lower graphical version (same features tho) for DS so you could play in wi fi hot spots

All I have to say is YES! This idea is just plain beautiful!!! It would be perfect to be able to walk around capturing pokemon then battling and doing it all... i swear if this happens id never go to work!

As much as I wouldn't admit it, I'd play it just to try it out and see how everything functions, how good of a job they did, and just out of curiosity in different areas.

It looks as if it's an independant project though so who knows.

Actually its not that bad of an idea. Not much different really from all those people that play the game with their friends on the GBA's. From what I've played in the games they seem to have the makings for a good MMO......Either way it would be a nice change of pace once and a while from the traditional MMO games out there.

This would actually be pretty interesting...

BTW, the games rock gameplay wise, it's just that the show was so friggin horrible that it ruined the franchise's reputation for all eternity. Plus the cardgame was all collecting and no strategy, = piece of junk.

Why would you guys believe a mmo is being made that hasn't even been licensed... BTW, Pokemon dose'nt have enough information to be a mmo, so there would have to be a crap load of stuff added.

Monster Rancher would make a great mmorpg though.
