I've been looking and looking.....and looking for a fun free mmorpg and i just get tired of scrolling down the list and coming up with emptiness. please give me your opions on which game to play. thanks Tas
Not necessarily MMORPG's, the ones I know that are mildly decent are Gunbound, Runescape, and Kinght Online. Just mow a lawn, pick up leaves since it's autumn if you want to earn a bit of money. All you need is just one lawn and you should be home-free for a month. I swear some people.

Beggers (you) can't be choosers. If you want a good MMOG, you'll have to pay for it... sorry.

I also reccomend Progress Quest. But it's probably not what you're looking for.

Doesn't harm me. I don't call people who play F2P games beggers... I call people who play F2P games and complain they're boring/grindy/not as immersive/smaller then P2P games and don't understand why.
So I say that "Beggers can't be choosers"... in otherwords "You're recieving a service free of charge, why is it you are complaining?" There's several good ones out there... but different people like different styles of play... and when they get picky, expecting a game like WoW or EQ2 to come as a Free Java App... I get irked. ;-)

If you don't mind being gimpy at high levels, Anarchy Online is free until 2007 and it has a lot of nice things that some other freebies I've played do not. Only play RuneScape if don't mind not having any teaming or guild system and only two or three things that are oriented towards group play.
Rubies of Eventide is also a good offering in the set of free games. The class system is fairly interesting at least. The crafting system is a little different, or so I hear, than some other games but I never really played with it. Making higher quality products has a greater chance of messing up and runing your materials. Like a D20 idea with progressive DC's for progressively higher quality items.
i played mu online i liked it but then i found that the game has no piont at all i think i will try KAL online it looks a little like martial heroes and i hated that game but i think i will go buy the dark age of camelot it looks fun as hell also if any one has any sugestions on any other games free or paid id be happy to hear it Tas

You'll get all that you put into it though... which is true for any game.

Legend of Mir 3. It's pretty fun to waste time with. A lot of things to do, and it actually has a pretty good community.
Check it out.

Heres a game which in my opeion is better than runescape after you gain a few levels and not try really hard things 1st.
