People should not think that MMORPGs are expensive because you pay a monthly fee! as a matter a fact, you're SAVING money!
I had this mentally a long time ago, that I would never see myself paying a monthly fee for an online game!
But once you get into it, you have to do the following:
- STOP BUYING GAMES -
Yes, if you're the kinda guy that enjoys buying the latest release for PC/console games, STOP! MMORPGs, especially World of Warcraft is very time consumming, you won't have time to play other games! And well, that's the beauty of it! WoW evolves all the time, Blizzard wants their customers to never stop playing, so they'll make sure they always add new content to keep you interested! But if you end up still purchasing games, then yes, WoW will be expensive.
I used to spend up to 100$ per month on games. Ever since I played MMORPGs, I still bought a few games... Half-life 2, Doom 3, all the GTA games... what kinda sucked was I didn't finish those games until 3-5 months later when I felt like taking a week off from MMORPGs to play'em. As a matter a fact, Doom 3 I didn't even enjoy it normally. I wanted to go back to playing WoW and I felt i'll never play Doom 3 ever again, so I used cheat codes, finished the game in 1-2 hours, saw the ending, un-installed it and never touched it again.
But I haven't purchased a game for over a year. Even if you pirate'em... my friends bought Dungeon Siege 2... they made me a copy... I installed it, played it for 30 minutes, uninstalled it and went back to WoW cause it's more fun. I'm glad Id idn't buy it... it's a great game, but not greater than a MMORPG.

Stealth - Ambush - Hemorrhage - Sinister Strike x2 - Cold Blood - Eviscerate - Vanish - Preparation - Cold Blood - Ambush - ... you're dead! :P
I know mmporpg are time consuming..
I'm also paying for an other game.. its $5,- a month..
but if i'm also gonna play WoW then it would be almost $20 dollar a month..
And i dont know if i'm gonna quit with the othe mmporgp so thats why its hard to decide..
WoW is a very cool game..
its better than the other game..
but it took me a year to get this far in the other mmporgp and i am a paying player for 2 months..
i can stop playing it..
but what do i have to do with that acount?? i could sell it.. but it is against the rules of the game..
So a lot of things make it hard to decide what to do..
I htough the same way as johnark,
I would spend anywhere to 50 to 100 a month on new games, now I spend 14.95 a month :-) I say go fo r it
k..
i think im gonna buy it..
you have convinced me..
now i have to convince mah parents..
but one last problem..
I still dont know what to do with the other game..
im realy good at it and i payed alleardy money for it..
its would be stupid to throw such a good acount away..
