Anybody pre purchased from amazon?

in Guild Wars 2

I did but when i tried to download the product i got an error saying "failed to get product keys".Also there's no " view product keys" next to my item in the "your games and library" section of my amazon account as stated on the downloader and help section.

 

Did anybody that pre purchased from Amazon encountered this problem?If yes how did you deal with it?

    Didn't you get promotional code from them to make the GW 2 account you can download the client there?

    Yes i got a promotional code that came with this specific item but that promotional code is just a 5$ credit bonus for buying this specific item it is not the actual product key for GW2.

    Well I'm guessing the actual GW 2 serial code won't be available till the 28.

    Why would it only be available by then when the product description and title states that it gives early access?

    When did you pre purchase? Cause you should have gotten email a with a serial code or promotional code as Amazon puts it to register on the GW 2 website that code is both for the Betas and Headstart.

    i ordered from amazon and instantly got the code and download instructions, It was about 12 hours ago. already downloaded and updated the client.

    i didn't get that in my email though the purchase appears in my games and library but there's no view product keys option or anything like that.

     

    For example on my Rift purchase i have the product key right underneath the item pruchase while GW doesn't have one.

    You could only get this code from an email from amazon you should contact amazon support.

    Which amazon site did you use? as only .com had the pre-purchase as a far as I know.

    Yeah i did use amazon.com

     

    Anyway i got a reply from the customer support which said that my purchase hasn't been finalized yet,weird though.

     

    Now my question is,if i will only have access to my game code after the early access starts,will i still be able to join?

    Im really disappointed

    On my amazon account now it appears as a pre order when it clearly said "Guild Wars 2[Pre Purchase Online Game Code + Early Access]"

    That's the title of the product.

     

    The best part of it i can't even cancel the pre order for im getting an error when i try to.
     
     
    My last  purchase from amazon that's for sure.

    Are you sure you didn't pre-order before they announced that they were going to add the pre-purchase?. Amazon just recently added the pre-purchase, it wasn't always there. Before the pre-purchase was up on Amazon they only had regular preorders which would let you in on the 27th instead of the 28th.

     

     

      I bet you that's were it got messed up.

    Odd your key is not showing up, I also ordered the digital deluxe and it was showing the key right after the order went through!

    Yup, I got the code almost immediately.  Worked with no problem.  I would call customer service, if possible...

    Current: GW2 (almost)
    Played: EQ, DAoC,EQOA,Shadowbane,WoW, WAR, SWTOR, TSW

    I found the "Activation Code" like it says on the website, I didn't get it in an email. And it's not working when i'm trying to register my account its a 6-5-4-3-7 format right?

    Majorlly disappointed here too.  And the best parts are..... the refund that they are promising me cannot be processed until I actually have the game in my hand, tho I paid for it and it should be here Monday (bought retail from Amazon)

    They talked me into doing the digital download with a gurantee that the promotional code will work.  And, it doesn't work.

    So, am out $60 and now $80 thus far.   Giving up.
