    I'm having massive lag too. Like... multiple seconds. Up to a minute.

    and maybe I'll get into a good one once Im out of the starter area.. cause Ive had to do it three times (rolled back to start).

    Least I am keeping the exp and skil ups.

    The game is supposed to launch in 2 hours and 18 minutes from now so even they opened the servers earlier they are still patching stuff till then.

    So they are just taking advantage of the 3 hours prior to launch so everything can go smooth when the timer hits zero. :)

    I'm starting to wonder if it's only specific servers. Who else is on Jade Quarry?

    I'm not. I am on Tarnished so high pop, but far from the highest atm.

    Very bad lag so far.  Got disconnected 2 times in starter area before being able to finish it with huge amounts of lag couldn't really even tell what was going on then sat for 20 minutes in an overflow queue for Queensdale before saying forget it and logging off.  Not even official early start launch time yet so I'm not going to bash Anet or anything but I'm not very impressed so far.

    Yaks Bend here and tons o lag, rubber banding , loosing connection , delays , all part of a mmorpg headstart , too many people logging in at the same time , the servers might be on fire :P

    Just gotta hang in there for another 3-4 hours maybe just log back in then. Wierd part is sorrows furnace is low pop atm.

    Gates of Madness here, had to complete the story starter zone 4 times before it would let me in the 'first' area. More of the same there too.

    I doubt it will get better that quick.  There are a lot of players that are probably waiting for the offical prestart time of 12:00pst to login which is just about 2 hours away.  I think this whole weekend will be very rocky with lots of problems.  But time will tell.

    yea massive lag logged out for the night =/ got char made on JQ server and invite to MMORPG.com guild though so mission accomplished for headstart launch

    That's weird I've been playing on jade Quary for over an hour and experienced no lag what so ever.
