How do i get my HoM rewards?

in Guild Wars 2

i do not see portal stones in my inventory

 

does my new character name have to be the same as the old ones?

    Did you link your GW1 and GW2 accounts? You can do that on your account page. If you did, any character you create should have an item in it's inventory called "Hall of Monuments Portal Stone." Double click on that and it teleports you to HoM, where you can tame ranger pets and get your items by the scrying pool.

    If you did all of that and still don't have the portal stone in your inventory, either remake your character or submit a petition. There is also an NPC somewhere, I believe it's Lion's Arch, that can give you a replacement stone.

    There is an NPC that gives them out. I just don't remember the location. Someone in chat said Lion's Arch.

    I didn't get my portal stone either but here are the directions:

     

    1. In Lion's Arch, head northwest into Hooligan’s Route.
    2. At the Undermarket Point of Interest, find the charr karma merchant named Scornheart.
    3. View Scornheart’s offerings and, on the second panel, select the Hall of Monuments Portal Stone. The stone is available at no cost.
    4. Use the Portal Stone to access the ruins of the Hall of Monuments.

    Hmm - the guy inside the halls tells me that I don't walk the path of the ancient heros and there for can't recieve the items (is my guess) - What im not sure of right now is if it havent registered if I actually linked my account or not, or if its because you need to do something else at first in GW2 before you'd actually get access to those things ?

    i had to get the stone,it  didnt show up. I'm still not getting my items as well.

    Someone on twitter logged out of GW2 and in to GW, then back to GW2 and that fixed it. I stupidly tried that but can't log back in to GW2 now to see if it works :(

    Edit: Got back in, didn't work :(
