My user name?  Meowhead.  My charr name?  Meowhead.  My guild name?  MEOW

I think I'm pretty set here. :)

    I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall.     I got my preferred name.  I thought someone had taken it because it was showing as reserved, but then I remembered that I had a guild wars 1 trial account and I had used the same name.  So I managed to find my login details, linked the two accounts and got my preferred name.  Also reserved 3 of the other 5 names I wanted, the last 2 were taken.

    I made one character, logged in, lost the urge to play within 2 minutes like usual. Perhaps try it again in a few weeks.

    I got Hyacinth, which is the name I wanted for my Sylvari, so yup :D

     Haha, using double names is a good way to be pretty sure you can get them.  That's why I was only concerned about my 3 single names. :)

    I had to add a last name to my norn and I completely failed in getting my asura name (I wasn't really going to play it that much anyways)

     

    • Male Norn Warrior: Ansgar Greywind
    • Male Sylvari Necro: Myrddin Blackthorn
    • Male Charr Ele: Aelius Starforge
    • Female Human Guardian: Erza Empyrean
    • Male Asura: Thwokk

    It's why I wasn't really concerned. I always prefer 2 names, makes me feel like a real person, and only the first name counts for me, with the exception of Akim Telbane, which I hold the trademark as drawer on, hehe.

    I stopped naming my chars "Elikal Ialborcales" as I used to, got kinda too known. Akim Telbane was my first MMO char EVER long ago in SWG. Sigh.

     Actually, Hyacinth was my backup Sylvari name.

    I want Jacinto first, which is a male version of the name. :)

    So I tried Jacinto (Taken), Hyacinth (taken).  Went through some other male flower names, ended up with Jacinth.  Half Jacinto, half Hyacinth. :P

    I never expected to get the name I wanted but surprisingly I did. An Asura Mesmer popping out clones called, "Im Spartacus"

     

    clone 1 "Im Spartacus"

    clone 2 "Im Spartacus"

    clone 3 "Im Spartacus"

     

    repeat for endless amusement.

    I had no problem at all getting my favorite name... however this is server-unique that means that there might be another person with your name in another server.... thats why im not revealing my name right now LOL... triying to move to jades quarry anytime soon

    Same here. I'm using Demigoth since 2005 and never have seen any one else use it. I'm pretty sure one of my blog followers used it to piss me off - WELL IT WORKED.

    Made it a ticket, hoping ANet will give it to me later on...
