    So how long have they been down? I got my chars, went to sleep and everything was fine and dandy then I wake up and it's chaos in here.

    It's really bad from Arena Net to launch a game with server side issues like this. We paid our honestly earned bucks for this game, and to be honest to most folks it will look like Arena Net have fumbled the ball badly.

     

    Best advice is go play your other games and come back later...

    Its probably the same two who have done most launches of MMOs of the past few years , and are probably being employed by Blizz too for their expansion launch.
