GW2 nor TSW are failures. They are new.. GW2 will stablize, and TSW will fill out. If you are a pver who craves an rich immersive world, I don't know why you are not playing TSW. If you are pvpr grab GW2 there is no longer a reason to play WoW.
Us non-WoW/ex-WoW players have a great year ahead.
Originally posted by Kyarra I guess you weren't around when WoW first started back in November 2004. Many Many server issues also. Give them time, will get fixed eventually.
Good to remember the 04's when there was 2-3 MMOs that were big enough.
This is 2012, this is the game that was claimed the MMO Messiah... no excuse for this failed launch.
The launch didn't fail. Semantics-wise, the actual hard launch itself isn't for 3 days. You're just in the headstart, which gives you the advantage of being able to play a few days early, when possible, during the soft launch to get players spread out, and get these connectivity issues sorted.
This guy is trying to say WoW had a smooth launch? aaahhahahahahah! Now that is some serious denial! Classic!
A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.

Isn't going back to WoW the MMO equivalent of slitting your wrists?
