I did 160+ hours within the BWE's and stress tests. Doing this allowed me to make sure I could be comfortable with my choice in a game. I tested as much as I could in multiple different zones. Reached level 39 on one character 20's on 3 other characters. I made sure to stay clear of the Norn area and Warrior class as much as possible because that is what I wanted to start come launch.
I'm now taking my time, working my way thru my Personal story of my Norn and I'm absolutely loving every minute. Its comlpetely different then the other races and for me fits completely the back ground and story of the race. I'm glad I left atleast this area and personal story for launch and it has been an insane amount of fun.
I'm curious did anyone else save anything specific for pre release launch and then finally get to test it out? experience?

ok its been a few days, so I'd thought I'd update.
I've now spent 40+ hours since pre release. Taking my time in the Norn story line.
Yes there is some hicups with the launch, though this is to be expected with 1mill+ people smashin the servers.
Aside from these expected issues, the game has been even more enjoyable then the 160+ hours I played during BWE's.
I have a vast gaming history and knowing this I saved the Norn story line for launch. I read reviews of people not enjoying the norn story and finding it boring or un directional. On the contrary I found it immersive and very fun, though I did feel extremely slugish and slow compared to playing a smaller class like Asura or even Human.
I've now comlpeted 16% of the world map, with 7 zones %100 explored. My main Norn character is level 26 which indicates to me I have a ton of game play ahead of me.
This game runs smooth on a system that does not meet minimum system req's on medium / low settings and even mores so on a high end system, which had issues in beta.
A few guild mates are over level 55+ and have indicated the game just keeps getting better and better at higher level area's. More challenge and more interesting DE's. See you in Tyria!!!

I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg
Its nice to hear you are enjoying all of them. After testing the other characters I've found I love them all though the norn's is not my favorite infact it'd be my least favorite in the game. I'd agree with you that for me Asura's is great!!! I hadn't felt like I was watching saturday morning cartoons in a long time and yet it was interactive <--- how it made me feel playing Asura.
Well back to wondering around in adventure, exploration mode, looking for new jumping / puzzle dungeons!!
