How to meet up with friend's?

Is there a way to play with friends?, I invited them to my party, put them on my friends list and I cannot get onto the same server as them, no matter what I do.

    when they are in your party right click on their name and theres a "join in" or something of that sort option that should move you with your friend.. it is little buggy right now so doesn't always work(think because of such a high load on many of the servers)

    I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg

    Do you all have the same Home Server? If you do, I'd recommend pressing B and have everyone go into the same WvW Borderland, create your party, go through the Asura Gate to Lions Arch and carry on from there.

    If you aren't, I'm not sure what the go is with Guesting at the moment, so you may want to look into Server Transfers.

    It's not working at all. No matter what I do. I've tried all the suggestions you guys said to do, nothing works.  This is really annoying.

     

      This is suppose to be an mmo, and yet friends can't meet up with each other due to server load?. If it remains like this, I'm affraid my friends are gonna get so annoyed and sick of it that they are going to just give up and quit.

     

    ArenaNet should have thought about this before releasing the game, I mean are we suppose to NOT play together?. This is the lamest thing I have ever encountered for an Massively Multiplayer  Online Role Playing Game.

    Yeah, it sucks, no question, but I'm betting it'll be resolved within a few days.  Well, hoping, at least...

    When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

    Try meeting at Lion's Arch and have everyone discover the Waypoint, It took me a while to meet with my brother and one reason I think we couldn't was because I didn't have an area unlocked therefore clicking "Join Game" wouldn't work. You should be able to join your friend into an overflow server from home server, and when there's enough spots for the party the whole party should be qued to the home server.

    go look at the server loads right now.. there are 3 servers with medium loads just use your free transfer and all yuor friends can transfer to one of those. [mod edit]

    they are going to add more servers... it'll be oookay take a deep breath take a walk and remember it will be oookay

    the alternative to this is sitting in a 2+ hour queue now how happy you think people would be then? i sat in 30+ min queues in swtor and they had over 100 servers.. people were PISSED to be sitting in any que

    Correct, it might set you back to square one again. But I would give Xpo's method a shot. It worked a few times for me and my friends on JQ. Hopefully they get this all sorted before launch phase 3 or there will be a lot more complaining on these forums (which is why Anet probably hasnt reopened their forums yet - why clean out angry posts when you can just not have people post at all! :P )
