How do you think DnL will be when it releases? Personally I think it will have alot of graphical bugs, lack of main content, and alot of empty space. The main thing that is concerning me is the talk about graphics, watching the videos on movement and fighting make the game look like it's still in concept.
I'm hoping for the best. If I can get into stress test I play and look at DnL with an open perspective, that the game could become very good over time.

Im really just hoping they have at least implemented enough to keep you busy for awhile while leveling and also at least some of the basics for the PvP/political system. Thats really one of the main reasons im interested in DnL.

1) Are server crashes kept to a minimum. (played through sb.exe errors w/out too much difficulty, fried my video card though )
2) Leveling
3) Minimal lag or a way to scale graphics to keep lag out.
These are the things I'm looking for. If these elements are all in the opening version of the game, then I think I can hold out for the political content and the maturity of the other features.
Just me though.

Oh ya? So youre over there in charge of server infrastructure and building their servers? Thats pretty cool then, at least now thanks to Anubis we have 100% confirmation that a MMORPG that will (according to Anubis' estimates, so again we have an offical confirmation since hes also in charge of community developement and management) have over 100k subscribers at launch, all on one seamless server doing numerous and varied things, because, also confirmed by Anubis (I guess hes also lead content Developer) there will be a huge amount of things to do at launch and almost every core feature will be the game, there will be no lag what-so-ever. It will be your crappy comp, not the brilliant servers.
cool what are the specs

Yes, the game has been through a very long development time, and I hope all that time was well spent on making the ame deep and immersive, with lots to do and with fun combat/crafting/social aspects.
The graphics in DnL was never something that I was draw in by, it is the dynamic weather and huge environments in a seamless world, where you can see very far (100km?) to the horizon. This is not a graphics things, its a new feature that no other mmorpgs have, letting players become more immersed in the gameworld.
Also, if the social-political system is good, there should be a lot to like about DnL. If the game is released in a polished state, is fun, and has a good community (which it seems to judging by the boards), I will be playing it for sure.
Not sure yet. My techy friends are supposed to email me a list of specs. I'll toss out the highs and lows and go with the above average stuff.
Theyve sold me on getting a Mac monitor (LCD) and I found a mouse that is tall and thin (ergonomic). That's it for now

I never by the best of the best (just less bang for the buck)
But I will splurge on the monitor. My 1 1/2 yr Sony Trinitron 21" turned out to be a disappointment even with a 9800pro.

How in the WORLD did your 1 1/2 yr Sony Trinitron 21" turn out to be a dissapointment? I have a 19" Sony CPD-E440B (Trinitron) and it's the best monitor I have ever come across.
I have no idea. I just know that my friend had a really old (like 4-5yrs) monitor with a 9700pro (I sold her both) and the colors on WoW looked much deeper and richer. For some reason the colors on mine look all washed out? Dont know why, it just is. /shrug I'll still keep it for back up duty but it's gaming days are about over lol.
