Personally I find it darkly amusing that 2 of the most negative posters I've ever seen on the forums are ones who got in on this contest (strange luck, that)..one of whom got kicked from the main game's forums because of his antagonistic attitude towards the Dev's and continual rants on how much the world hates Aussies (your ancestors were sent there for a reason).
Anyhow, Gratsi on those who did win and here's hopin' on the second draw and now taking bets on how many days some of the winners make it before breaking NDA just because they think they can get away with it

Possibly, but one of the two I'm thinking of I know for sure has serious attitude issues when it comes to this game If NCSoft excercises any kind of final approval on the contest, it wouldn't surprise me if they boot him from the contest for his previous antics

No Pre Orders get no more chance than anyone who signs up for it "untill close to retail".. That is what all the crap was about.. The people spending money to get into beta are getting sidetracked to random people & they defend themselves by saying "priority" doesnt mean now..
IMO it was very wrong to do the the people that cared enough to put money down on it or pay in full like that.. I bought my copy almost 2 months before the retail date got pushed back & had to win this contest to get a spot.. Hell on there forums they tell you you need to sign up for the random beta EVEN if you preorderd ..
I hope the game is fun, but i am no fanboy of any game.. I know a couple people in beta & have been let down on what ive heard.. I hope its fun, I want a new kind of MMO to play..

Pre-orders: it's never really been said when they get in, they were supposed to release some update to this but then the game got delayed so that went onto a delay too.
Contest winners: from what I hear you don't just automatically get in soon, you get in when they restart the normal beta waves for the US beta, which they haven't once again said when that's going to start other then sometime in the fall.
NDA: Yes there's still an NDA, and I think I've heard from a few people that most of the posts deleted here are for breaking the NDA.
People from overseas: Anyone can get into the beta, however there are only US and EU based servers, but I don't really know what the status of the EU beta is at all other then that I think it started.
