FUNNY things I've heard in game!
Most recently I was in the game and working spell casting skills, when suddenly I hear a merchant tear-off, "Greetings, Crackmeup. You look like you could use a spell: Intellectual Advancement."
LOL I love it.
My favorite of all time though was several years ago. I was in Freeport working on my brewing skills with my wizard, and saw this guy run behind me to the bartender. Suddenly I hear...
"Hello Kranky. Looks like you could use a bottle."
I started cracking up, the guy actually got angry with me over it hehe.

I haven't played Everquest for quite some time!
But I remember some loading screen quotes like
- "See, I told you it was made of cheese!" <-- lol...
- "Does anyone actually read these?"
Those are the only ones i remember, but funny

Then there are the great character names of all time, I've seen so many that I can't even begin to list them. But some of the better ones...
Ogre Warrior named Whopperin Frize
Another named Itchybum Scratchitfast (from the days when they scratched their butts as an animation)
A Druid in wolf form named Kibble Zenbits
I just ran into another Ogre warrior in tutorial named Reipjok lol. Very original.
My favorite of all time though was a wizard named Baktu Defeutcher. That one had me in tears for days hehe.
Actually, not too long after Luclin came out, we were out in PoK, and this Vah Shir honey was complaining to the zone, "Can somebody please get me down out of this tree wtihout yelling at me or throwing rocks or anything?" Sure enough I went over, and way up in the tree was the cat hehehe. I can't remember her name, but I had to give her credit that was a good one lol.

Granted, this is on Xegony server, and he's a shammy, not a wizzy, but whether this is the same character or not, THAT is quite an amazing coincidence.
LOL, that was years ago the event I spoke of...it's either same guy or a different one.
I've logged onto my friends list and found people with same names on Tribunal that are actually long gone, and its a different person entirely, a completely different class.
There is nobody on the server that I know of that I have been able to locate from the old times.
I kind of miss an old friend of mine I used to hunt with, funniest guy I ever knew in the game, Xeros Trainvictim.
OMG he did the most hilarious stuff, and would have me in tears.
On Tribunal in the past, there were some titanic French guilds that would often invade a zone, and take over all the camps. Once, we were hunting out in Cobalt Scar, and one of those guilds showed up. The main chat started filling up with French speakers, and by that time Xeros was in rare form...
