I'm going to buy Guild Wars in some days but I want to know if I got the right requirements for Guild Wars.

I got:

AMD Athlon 2400+ XP (2.0 Ghz), 512 MB
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro

I want to know if I can run it good without to many laggs.
Maybe somebody with a similair system could tell me something about it :)

    I think you'll be alright...

    I have a 2.4, gig ram, gefore 3

And haven't ever at frame rate issues... server lag yes... but no frame rate. I have everything at average with shadows and post proc effects off though... simply because I like clarity for PvP.

I think 512ram should be enough... exspecially if its DDR

    Yes its a DDR :)

Ok, thanks... I think I can buy it with no fear ::::31::

Hell...I running GW on an old AMD 833Mhz with less than a Gig of RAM.  The only lag I see is the loading of new areas for  the first time or after an update. image

I just have to say .... if that doesn't give the OP some hope ::::18:: , I don't know anything that will.::::12::. Over all the game runs very effiecently on most setups. The only time I ever get lag is when I protection software takes it upon itself to update in the middle of me playing. Good Luck...

    Have fun with the game
