Lag! can my PC run this?

in PlanetSide 2

My FPS is around 20-25 in-game with some settings on low..

 

What do I need to change/upgrade in order to play this game with decent FPS?

 

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz (4 CPUs), ~4.4GHz

 

NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 and 4 gigs ram

    Upgrade your GFX card... and get some RAM.

     

    If you can pull together $300, I'm sure you could get a massive boost in performance.  On the other hand, if you're targeting launch and don't have $ to burn... I'd just hang in there for now and see how things develop.  I think you'll have a much better idea of what a proper system will be at that time.

    Better yet, save your money and wait for their optimizations to go through. No way they're going to release it in this state.

    Thanks for the replies ^-^

     

    I'll upgrade to 8gigs ram soon and ask about for a recommended graphic card that isn't in the £800 region haha

    As others have mentioned:  I would start with getting 8 gigs of RAM (or more).  If that does not do it look at the GPU.
