    Looks solid, but is it basically PvP, or what?

    There's nothing more gratifying than playing an MMO for free.

    while the books are good i am not sure this is going to fly, so to speak. The worlds in the books are a lot more crazy and interesting.

    I agree books are amazing, IP has huge potential but I just don't know about it as an mmo. Looks good anyways but feels like a cash shop train wreck incoming.

    Some of the worlds are from the books. Right now though, it just looks like a medieval fantasy mmorpg.

    I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

    If you are looking forward to this game, you will be drastically disappointed.  They are not spending much time developing it.

    Grim world with mismatched characters that look foolish.  Might match the IP (IDK/IDC), but see no depth.  Maybe next video will be more then showing off models and characteratures.

    Looked totally bland and generic, being gamigo i shouldn't really expect anything else but still a shame considering the IP.

    Looking at the new trailer left me wondering if this was the same game they made last years trailer from (linked in post #14).  Last years looked very cool and different enough to make for the possibility of an amazing game ...

     

    The new one .. hmm it just looks like scenes from every other fantasy mmo

    Because the trailer they are showing you above, is in a world. If you see in Debut Trailer linked in post #14 they show you different worlds. They zoom in and out, they are just showing you one world.

    I guess thats it.

    I hope they didn't add mainly fantasy to this game though since last year.  Gamigo could be under the false impression that everyone wants a fantasy game (with all the popularity of GW2, WoW, Rift, etc).  Seeing them showing a new fastasy themed trailer means to me that they are trying to tap into the fantasy crowd..

    IMO it's not that everyone wants fantasy, it's just that all the other sci-fi 3D-avatar AAA MMORPG's stink ... and fantasy is all thats left worth playing, unfortunately.

    honestly the combat didnt look that good... yet another old school Stand and bash mmo.

    If its F2P i will still give it a go to at least say I tried it and it was in fact bad or good.

    What did i see? some combat animations which have no context and a nice landscape shader?

    i may not have paid enough attention to the first video, but this basically looks like the same video that was posted. Where was the closed beta footage?

    Still this concept has me very interested, i hope it's done well, and eventually does well in sales.

    So is this a typical hot-bar-cooldown-fest combat system? TSW and GW2 were the last two MMOs I was going to give a pass to for this type of archaic combat model. Any new MMOs better have a new system of combat that's more focused on action if they want my money.

    Environments look pretty, though. Not sure about the anims, though. Those wings have all the fluidity of drywall.

    I make spreadsheets at work - I don't want to make them for the games I play.
