I would buy it. Not so much because i feel obligated, but because i'd much rather get my information on how bad it does/doesn't suck firsthand. After all there is an "omg this sux" thread for every game out there, there will probably be one for dnl too.

thats true. people have different tastes and can find enjoyment in different things (all depends on if they are having fun)
-id say id do the same, but only if it wasnt retail priced (because we all know how much it sucks when you spend 50dollars on a game you cant even last the free month period)

Absolutely not. I'm so tired of half finished games being released. Yes, yes, I know that an MMO is never truly finished but, for the love of my money, give me a game that, at least, delivers what they advertise in their overview. If DnL is in a decent state and looks good, I might give it a go when it's released. Having said that, I read recently on another board that it has only 4 available hotkeys... 3 combat and 1 heal... if that's the case, I don't think I have to worry about spending any money any time soon.
LOl this game is getting more breaks in NDa by the second first off can you tell me what bord and second off mate i tihnk the make amount of hotkeys you can have is currently 100 so the info you got is way wrong
what he said. i doubt theres gunna be 3 combat and 1 heal... deffinantly not..... i know people who tested many games and a game with 3 combat and 1 heal is not possible no matter how much you look at it... i remmber seeing on the site that there will be somewhere around 100 levels..... so what 4 spells? unless ur able to upgrade them like Warcraft 3 and i think there will be a cap on how many levels u can put into it and i think they should add new effects to it each level if it is like that

YES.. i would really love to be in beta though ; ; it looks fun
im not all that concerned about the features all being added.
what im most concerned about is do i have fun when i log in.
if i log in and its friggin agony just to get from point a to point b(like a current way overhyped no monthly charge beta im in) then its going to bomb. if the mob hunting is stupidly erratic and boring(like a current 'mostly bashed' beta im in) then its going to bomb.
then again i could tell as soon as i logged on these 2 games were not good games. i gave them a chance of course and after a week of trying i was exactly right. beta or not they will not be fun games and will bomb.
if its actualy fun it will do well, not exactly rocket science.
i doubt it will be like that, of course we will never know til it releases

I hope the NDA leaks were made from impatient gamers, rather then testers with blessed foresight...Because id really like this game to come through.
well keep in mind, every mmorpg in history has its share of beta testers who do nothing but complain and say how bad this or that sucks.

50 bucks is not that big of a deal if you are living free of charge in your parents basement and your biggest expense is cheetohs and diet coke I suppose. On the other hand if you have a wife a kid and 150 grand in student loans you are paying off on top of a mortgage you learn real fast that entertainment spending falls real low on the totem pole LOL.
But like you say people are idiots I will let those with more money than sense buy it on November 5th and if the forums and game site reviews say it is not worth it I will spend that 50 or 25 or whatever the cost is on a worthwhile game that will give me my moneys worth.

Well I have to admit I exaggerated a bit there on the 150k part to make a point, more like 1/3 to 1/2 that but it is still ugly on the first of the month. Only one that is happy is the tax man.

Same here. Gonna let the impatient suckers test it out. I've been burned on too many of the recent releases.
