I'm really enjoying Guild Wars 2. Just about everything about it.. but i didnt like the first guild wars at all when i tried it. I'm wondering if any of the first guild wars vets are liking guild wars 2 and if so/ if not still playing the first one? I've been thinking of reinstalling just to see what it's like since its been years. All i can remember is that it didn't really feel like a mmo for some reason.
What do yall like more or less about the two?

Guild Wars 1 wasnt an MMORPG. I didnt get into it much, but I enjoyed the the campaign that gave dervishes and paragons. Was an interesting story to play through and with the hero characters I treated it like a single player RPG where you manage a team of 8. Was actually challenging at times, and fun.
The biggest strength though IMO of GW1 is the gamme world, which carried over to the second.
Yeah i remember when i bought gw1 it was a special deal where it came with the original game and a expansion or something and i remember i could add these ai bots to my party to help me out. It was fun and good story and whatnot but didn't feel like an mmo to me. I guess it's mainly because i had played world of warcraft before i had tried guild wars though.
Guild wars 2 however imo is like the mmorpg i know and like but on crack (good crack?). Just all around good fun so far and im only a level 34 necro lol. I guess my only concern is that i have fps lag when theres A LOT of ppl at once place in w v w but don't think theres anything i can do about that.. video card is pretty fresh.
GW1, which I loved and played for a couple of years, felt more like a single player off line game. Other than PvP and the dungeons I rarely played with others since the hirelings tended to perform their roles very well. It was still a great game.
GW2 I wish had the cross class and similar skill system but I am liking the system we have, just liked the original system a bit better.
