Looking for Semi casual MMO

bbtunabbtuna Member Posts: 10

Im just looking to play something in my downtime, I dont want to feel like I have to play nonstop to have any fun.  I would like it to be fantasy style with classes, but Im open to most anything

Must Haves:

Free to play

Some type of PVP (Open world a plus)

Good community(English based), i dont want to have to solo

Group friendly

No overpowered cash shop items (boosts and stuff arent a problem, just no crazy good items)

Non cartoony graphics, they dont have to be fantastic but none of the weird kid graphics

Lineage II or Aion I'd say.... If you have $60 to spare, grab GW2

Sure it does, free up to lvl 20, maybe he just wants to twink and stay at lvl 19 in the BG's... Thats where all the fun is at and it is super casual.

Gotta second this.  GW2 isn't free, but it has no sub and pretty much fits all your other criteria to Tee.

Okay, that's stretching it, but okay.  However WoW doesn't fit the last criteria of not wanting cartoony graphics.

Meh, not much more cartoony than GW2, TSW, TERA, WAR, I mean they all look cartoony to some degree, its digital art. I find even AoC looks cartoony at the end of the day.

Age of Conan. Great game. it's free to play. Open world PVP,  Good Gfx and a friendly ,helpful and to some degree mature community.

If you can afford the box price, then GW2 is very casual...
