On my quest for the Holy MMO...

My attention went to the north, to the barren land, where peoples say stories of evil, of unimaginable troubles, of complete desolation, MxO.
Why? SoE buy it and is about to change the game, I want to try it before it get SoErupted to a point nobody can recognize it...and everyone, I mean EVERYONE I know talk ill of the game...I need to see for myself what can be so wrong that yet bring SoE on it toes.
I have zero expectation, go ahead flame and blast the game, I really dont expect much, it can only go upward! 
Will I find a treasure? Don't think so, but always worth checking...at least until Civ4 hit the shelves! (I was angry while playing SoR, so I just quit hehe, SoR is definitely nice...but it is like raw materials, it is to crude to sleep on it) I didnt really enjoy the movies, nor dislike it...SoE we will see what happen! 
PS: If I want to spam the folks still playing on Luclin server in EQ? I type a tell how, or add them to buddy list how? :P I mean, they have been free of a raid haters for 2 years now, they need a reminder about how much raiding lack!

The first 'Live Event' under the reign of $OE just happened and...
Well everyone claiming that the server merge wouldn't be the lagfest we told you it would be, you can apologize now.
As predicted: Main character shows, does macroed speech, leaves. No interaction.
Whoopee I can talk to players in other $OE games... wait, XFire allows that, but more efficiently and with a much broader sweep. And God knows nobody wanted to use AIM which actually let you know When players or LET chars came on. God who'd want to actually know what was going on right?
Yeah, it's too late to see the game before the corruption set in.
The game can most definitely still be fun, but they certainly alienated as many of the old-timers as they could.

Agreed. I gave up almost two weeks ago and I do not want to go back. It was fun, and I hit 49, But I felt no need to grind to 50. the game is interesting, and captured my attention longer than any other mmorpg ever has.
