Speculation: Rift's new Cleric Soul is a shape shifter

This is speculation, but I get the feeling the new cleric soul will be a shapeshifter as I will explain.

Over on Rift forum

the developer said

"You should try to guess what Husk of Indifference does."

well Husk is like the outer shell of something, as if escaping from normal body form into something else.
 

 

another quote from Trion on the new souls :

Well the :

Fearsome Spellblades = Harbinger (Mage)

Stormtouched Warriors = Tempest (Warrior)

Blight Weaver = Defiler (Cleric)

Protean Gadgeteer = Tactician (Rogue)

 

well what is a Blight Weaver?

well there is many ideas on what this is.

who knows.

The concept from WoW IP has it as some kind of disease spreading weapon.

the SC2 concept has it as a Zerg that has metamorphose.

 

well last thing.

Developers said something about "Change is Good" being a tree point for this new soul.

Well what could "CHANGE is Good" mean? perhaps shape change or sorts?

    As an avid Druid player in WoW, I was disappointed that Rift never had a shapeshifting class.  I don't think that Blight Weaver is very shapeshifting though.  It sounds more like a necromancer than anything (although mage soul has necromancer).  I've asked Trion since day one on the forums to include a shapeshifter hehe.
