This Game WILL Kick Ass!

I don't care what anyone else says, I have gone through every inch of Roma Victor's website, read all the reviews, both professional and amateur, and have drawn the conclusion that this game will kick ass because it has something for everyone!

In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect.

    There is no PvE. And for those people, who hate any PvP at all! They can't escape PvP, they will eventually meet it.

    This game is really for those players who miss Ultima Online, and are fanatics of the Roman Era.

    But its still a great game!

    Sorry, I really meant questing. Its full of wildlife, and a few bandits but not many! I meant to say this game is not focused on PvE but PvP! Its totally about PvP this game. PvE is for hunting, and there is a chance that there will be NPC bandits, not sure.

    Whats 100% sure is you can expect PvE of Wildlife for hunting purposes only!

    Get it together Mikey! There is PvE. They are going to have a quest system, you will have the option of killing NPCs be it human or non-human NPCs (animals) within context.

    This game has A LOT of potential. I think that Roma Victor is going to be a breath of fresh air going. Finally a game where I don't have to fight ridiculous monsters or suicidal animals.

    This game is exactly the MMORPG I've been asking for from devs since before EQ1 was released.  No graphical MMORPG has done justice to the social aspects of text-MUD's.  This may be the first to do so.

    I agree, this game will KICK ASS!!!! and this is the type of game that I have been waiting for since I first got into the MMORPG scene back in the text-MUD days

    I just found out about RV two weeks ago. I'm already impatient waiting for it to be released. I can't imagine waiting as long as some people have for it ( since '01 I think) Thank you to RedBedlam for coming up with some great ideas. This is going to be the best mmorpg of all time. Will see some of you guys ingame (soon I hope) and just hope you're not a Roman!  Thanks again RBLimage

    When I looked over the website for Roma Victor I thought to myself "finally an MMORPG that stands beside Runescape." Of course this is coming from a complete RS addict.... But this game is gonna rock!

    you have no clue do you??

    the players ARE the environment... this is the first mmorpg SINCE UO that there truely is a virtual society. All other mmorpgs have just been rat race games.

    it is a skill based game, there is no reason to go out and kill animals unless you need their meat and skin. I like it this way because it is NOT like every other game(they are all EQ with a different name anyways).


    so no if you consider pve as camping dungeons, fighting monsters to level, and get uber items... then no there is no pve in RV, and thank god!


    P.S - let me tell you all this... RV is NOT for everyone, infact 90% of normal mmorpg players WILL NOT like it. Which imo is good anyways hehe.

    Indeed, this will be full of old UO players, which is something I've been waiting for for a long time. Glad to see the free reign player development concept isn't dead, and graphics don't mean a damn thing. The lack of subscription also tweaks my intrest. I'll be eagerly waiting for this one.

    Hey, let me put it simply,


    My job is of course to hype RV as a great game, because its the best since UO no doubt, every mmo since uo has been crap. However I do want to break it to some people who only know the EQ style of games, that they will probably NOT like RV because of how the game is. If they are open minded to try new things, they may like it, but if they have these preconcieved notions that mmorpgs are supposed to be like EQ(omg im gonna fall on my sword), then they will have problems with all the aspects that are totally opposite of EQ games.


    Hype is good, but be realistic about it.

    This game does look really good, but the only thing that bugged me where those graphics... they didnt look to apeasing to me but maybe thats just like beta graphics or something i dont know.

    I have a clue about the game and know Ferox. 

    Game is extremely overhyped.  Game will definately not be free.

    How do I know this?  I will let you guys figure it out.

    One good thing about the game is the community is awesome.

    I only played for a day before BF2 crashed my HD and I'm gonna re-download the beta tonight, but the feel I got from it was a feeling I got from UO mixed with my first moments in EQ. The feeling of being submersed in a non-commercial world.image
