Perhaps share your experience? I don't have the time to give it a go, but I am interested in hearing about it.
Oddly enough my first reaction to seeing the goofy people icons in the image there was "Ugh, I don't want to use that" even though it could be a very solid product.
Presentation is everything. I think a better approach would have been a more serious site design.

Not going to happen. RaidCall isn't new and nearly everyone who tried it said it was bad. Both Skype and Vent are wayyyy better than this. Also, no one use RaidCall, its been out for a while now and I don't think people will switch for something worst.
I can't tell you why its worst because I haven't tested it and I don't plan to because no one seems to care about RaidCall and I've only heard negative review of this program.

I have used raidcall for 5 years because for some weird reason Vent and Teamspeak refused to work with my country's connection, I tried everything but nothing works, I do have my Mumble but Raidcall still voted first with my guildies,
sure they don't have the best forum and there's still some major bugs, there's no overlay yet for Guild Wars 2, but overall it works, and it works just fine for me and my mates
Mumble is the best IMHO.
RaidCall needs more work.
the awkward moment when me and a bunch of my friends already used RC before even it went famous
i think its comparable to TS and Vent
So What Now?
Sounds like an advertisement coming in the form of a news post.
Anyway, I tried using it a few years back because some guild members suggested it but in the end we continued using Ventrilo. TS and RC have both been evolving into even more respectable programs, it's a shame Ventrilo seems to have frozen in time.
It's ok. People been using it a lot on GW2.
Skype is still top for me.
I don't care testing atm myself. Still, I don't go into a forum with a claim that something is bad and admitting in the same sentense that I have no idea what I'm talking about, since I have zero personal experience with it.
I couldnt agree more. Is it they are trying to cash in on the "people love WOW and its cartoony, lets make our product cartoony too!"
Used RC for about a year. Imo it's better than Skype, worst than Ventrilo and Mumble but uses less resources than Mumble.
I stopped using it when they removed the Mac client.
I'm not very familiar with the market. Why isn't TeamSpeak mentioned more? I believe it is a superior client program, compared to the others. Ventrilo is still using the same client (basically) that they had ten years ago. Mumble didn't seem great when I used it. I don't know why Skype is even mentioned because it seems like it is mostly set up for person-to-person communication which isn't what raiding guilds need. In addition, Skype reduces anonymity. TeamSpeak is simple, easy to use, and just works with minimal setup.
I would be interested to hear why others are using their VoIP client of choice.
Same, I've used Skype and Vent, but mumble seems to have a sharper sound, even if it's called "mumble". I might try this Raid Call out though. The more the voice is clear and the lesser resource greedy it is the better
i don't really dig raidcall, TS3 is meh, hate vent, skype is so so, but mumble is amazing.
overlays, priority speakers, music muting, auto adjusting, etc.. didn't really like mumble when it first came out, but now it's the choice of everyone i run with in all games.
