Seems each year another MMO teams up with a Metal Band.

Last year was Wizardry Online and Dir En Grey.

Year before was Fallen Earth and the Nuclear Blast label.

Wait, Fallen Earth teamed up with Nuclear Blast? That's news to me. Dir En Grey isn't even metal more of a band that cannot find their genre, releasing Jpop cds and things like that occasionally.

Wow, blast from the past. A friend in the late 80's got me listening to them, they have some rather good songs and their music is pretty heavy. I was always too involved in my Thrash Metal, but I think I may still have three of their CD's laying around. I always preferred Armored Saint(same kind of metal, just Manowar is a bit more mythology based and Armored Saint was a bunch of DnD geeks making great music) over them with John Bush prior to the band dissolving and him going to Anthrax, which is one of my favorites. Manowar = Good band though, can't go wrong with them..

i remember seeing them when i was really into metal in the early 90s.

they were officially the loudest band in the world then (i dunno if they are still the record holders).

holy crap, i thougt my ears were gonna bleed.  and was very concerned for the structural integrity of the venue :)

Conans. It's good to hear bout them again. They have some ridiculously good songs(both metal-Like and ballad-Like). :)

What's next? WoW teaming up with Iron Maiden(snip it! Now Blizz will do it and tarnish IM's reputation forever lolz)?

i think you'll find that manowar considers themselves heavy metal...

in fact they consider themselves, the heaviest and, er most metallic of the metal bands, the "metal kings"

at least this was the case the last time i'd heard them, which was maybe 18 years ago :)

I love Smite, but not really a fan of this. I listen to a lot of 5FDP, and Children of Bodem, along with the classics, but meh. Maybe they have some better songs but this was a snoozer.

I've listened to Man-O-War for..... ahem.... well shit.... too many years. lol

They're a very hit-or-miss band. The stuff of theirs that I like, I *REALLY* like. But in my opinion they have equally as many shitty songs.
