Hardcore Players....

Hello,

My name is Shannon, and if you have ever played everquest you may know me as Loganizal or Rustedone.  I no longer play eq and i am avidly awaiting the release of D&D online.  To get to the point I am looking for Content oriented Hardcore D&D'ers to become familiar with so that a few of us may already have a couple groups of familiar people to band together when the game releases.  When i say hardcore if your not an adult i dont want to know you.  If you have to have your parents pay your gaming bill I  dont want to know you.  I am looking for a couple groups of people that can be availiable and be depended on when a (raid if that is the right term) raid is called.  I want to know that they will be there and show up.

Yes i may be a jerk for saying i dont want kids to be in my groups but i want people who understand and can trust one another.  I dont want to have to wait becuase the kid had to show his parents the report card and got grounded.

If you are like minded in this aspect drop me a message or reply here and lets discuss the game in detail.  Let try and see if we can get a few people already decided on a class and race and know what we have going into the release.

Loganizal, 70 wizard Rustedone 70 cleric Tyrriny 70 warrior.

Thanks.

It was a flicker of clarity in the foggy realm of shadowy chaos, where nothing was quite what it seemed, and everything was inevitably more treacherous and dangerous. But this, the crystalline glimmer of a single silken strand, shone brightly, cuaght his eye, and showed him all that it was and all that would soon be, and all that he was and all that he would soon be.

James here, and I'm in the same boat as you Shannon.  I powergamed on EQ with a couple or rl friends.  It was great but we all got off of EQ about a year and a half ago.  I gave WoW a shot but I found it lacked in terms of its ability to keep my attention like Everquest did.  I can't wait to play DDO and I'd love to have a network of people to try a server out with, geared towards creating a high end raiding guild.

Unfortunately my friends I played EQ with are no longer on the mmo train.  I am definately ready to put the time in and Im being super productive in real life now while I don't play an mmo so I can waste my life away when DDO comes outimage.  Keep me posted if anyone wants to put together some sort of list of people looking to start up something like this.

p.s. tenative class id desire would be wizard, but im not positive and definately still felxible

I agree with you Shannon. While this game is for all ages, the pains that come with adventuring children are not worth the time I invest.

I have played DnD since I was 10 (many years ago) and it has always been best to adventure with mature players. I am very eager to hear what server you think will be 'the one', heavily populated servers are always the best IMO.
