Backstory.
As we all know, in Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, and each of the subsequent expansions, Bounty hunters have hunted jedi, bad consept in and of itself, but this isint the point.
A dear friend of mine (Arterus), is a bounty hunter which isint uncommon by itself. He's a very successfull bh who kills jedi often, he happened to kill a jedi named Ymothdir one day. Ymothdir then responded like this.

I just came back and started on FarStar too. It makes me sad.
Im a Farstarian and have been keeping an eye on this situation , this guy makes me sick , the BH involved went through every channel possible to get something done yet SOE wont do anything!

Here is the full story...
I hunted ymothdir down, killed him once in mos espa... Got the usual flame tells. About 2 weeks later I had his mission again... Recieved the tells you saw. Well I didnt really bother with the irl threats, but the racist comments had me going... he had also claimed that we are nazi's, etc, etc... (My gf and I). He threatened to report me for racist comments, and inform others that I am racist.. Well that was the brink of it. I started on a small mission to have something done about him...
Well, first I figured with the chat logs used, something would be done about him in no time... thats common sense, no?.... Well, I went through ticket after ticket waiting for something to be done... 3 tickets later nothing was done. (Mind you, others had been reporting him as well). So, I sent a mail to a CSR supervisor... Who seemed to be somewhat sincere... Yet just another bs copy paste response. Two days later I was confronted by ymothdir again... Finally I put a phone call in to another SOE supervisor. Yet again... nothing happens. Well finally I become a little too frustrated to sit back and do nothing. I post a thread which had no names, no screen shots, nothing but the facts of what had happened... I asked the community if I had been taking it too seriously, and if I should stop while I was ahead. The consensus was that I was not taking it too far, nor should I stop..
After a couple days of the post being up, ymothdir posted in it saying he was soo sorry for his actions and that people just dont understand his "sense of humor" I straight out denied his apology and said he should rather save it for someone who cares. I didnt come to the forums for an apology, I came to them to ask if I had been taking it too far... And further more to at least inform players of a very idiotic person. Well, the post was promptly deleted for no reason at all.
About a week later, other people started having run ins with his alt... So I said, shag it... I posted a couple screenshots on the thread instead of mailing them, as I couldnt be arsed with yet another hush hush thread which would be deleted anyhow. So, I recieved a ban, not perm, but had me a bit pissed.
Since then, people have been posting about him left and right... Ive left the game due to the absolute lack of any care for the customers, and generally cant be arsed with anything including SOE but the forums.
Recently, I myself recieved a perm ban for merely posting on a thread which included his name... All in all, SOE despise negative publicity so they tend to hush anyone up with a reasonable story. Well, their lazy behavior has gone too far for me..

Technically, when you decide to become a jedi you are voluntarily entering PvP. As someone who is not a big fan of PvP, I am not going jedi for just that technicality.
As far the racist thing goes, as long as you weren't provoking, you were right, in my opinion. Unfortunately, it is up to SOE to take the actions. We can either live with it or cancel and cancelling does not seem to encourage SOE to change anything.

I have played this game for over 2 years, and am well known on Farstar for not being able to keep my mouth shut when I should :P
When I responded in one of Ymothdirs threads with the words "YOU ARE SCARED LIKE FAT CHICKEN??" I recieved THIS.
It pisses me off that SOE are willing to let him do whatever he likes in game, but by making the slightest reference to it on a public site such as the official SOE forums, you can be hit with a ban! (Other people have had the same treatment).
I eventually appealed and had the permaban overturned, but that is not the point. I have cancelled my account and refuse to pay that company another penny until they clean up their playerbase and get rid of this moron, who should not be playing anyway because he purchased the account from ebay!
I hope you guys manage to get this sorry story published and SOE gets exactly what they deserve. If there is anything I can do to help, just ask.

wow. this is incredible. i don't play on farstar so this is the first i've heard of this guy or anything... makes me wanna roll a toon on that server just to hunt him. what a nutcase.

And he had a 1 week ban. He came on the forums and said he was not banned in the first place.
