Never even heard of it before. And I've played/heard of almost all MMO's.
I know the korean version is free now...
But not sure if the american version..or even if there is an NA version of Kingdom of Wind...

as in nexus: kingdom of wind @_@ they made it free in korea?
Asgard, Kingdom of Wind, TalesWeaver, and another one...I forget...is free to play in korean versions.
Since sometime early august Nexon launched a life-time free play event for the 4 classic MMOs. I went back to TalesWeaver, after having quit for about 5months...Also went back to Kingdom of WInd after 5years of not playing. Kingdom of Wind in korean version is almost always full now, since it's free to play.
Old guilds and people that quit previously have come back to gather in game...So there are alot of high lvls.
This free to play launch is only korean...I'm not sure of international version...Suxs for you :P

I started casually playing Talesweaver again, too. On the Japanese server, though. I was on kTW test before, and they wiped every 3 months or so. And just to brag cuz I'm really kinda ecstatic about it, I found Wing Shoes on my level 15 Naya xD!!

from what i know, these are the updates
the NA nexus"kingdom of the winds" isn't run by the name nexon anymore but by a company called kru, which has taken over all 3 of the nexon products based in NA.
nexon may have put all there game to P2P which is why the name change coz we all know that everyone loves to suck the cash from the english versions of any game(we have too much cash and not enought sence)
nexus is currently undergoing a WELL NEEDED graphics update which i have been told will bring it closer to looking like the nexon version is now.
during the upgrade the game is FREE, however, for all those who used to play the NA one before will be still sad. as nexon/kru in there wisdom has performed over 5 name-freeing account wipes, which means that if you weren't subscriped just before or during one then you char like MINE has gone byebye, never to be seen again, wiped from the database with all the equipment and bank that it had.
and P.S it's currently free as they are working the bugs out of the upgrade, but as soon as they have, you can be sure that the prices will be re-instated, which is kind of lame for a 2d game to chargethe same as some 3d games do at the moment.
i personally would like nexus KOTW to be fully updated to a version client that act's and feels like rose-online or knights-online or any number of other clone type mmo's out there. as it has a REALLY GOOD gameplay system, char's are balanced, clan's/npc's/quest's/monsters/hunting area's it has the lot already made up, they just need to transfur the idea's from a 2d client to an uptodate 3d client. hell it would be better the almost all the other mmo's out there at the moment, just because they have all the info they need to make a game already.... errrr i think i'm starting to rant and rave, that's me done then, hope this helps others out.

did you get that from the HoneyBear or the Crystal Wing? Lucky -_-;; I killed thousands of Crystal Wings and HoneyBears trying to get one...and never got one...I just earned like 2 thousnad Honey bear meats, binded them to 3rd Binding Stones, and made about 2mil...and just bought one for 2mil :P
Wing Shoes are so hard to come by after the updates...:P
I don't even think HoneyBears drop them anymore...by the way...I have the God Shoes+God Ring...and holy shit...it's godly~ +1 stat on all stats + not to mention all the +1 and +2 stats on the ring.

Hahahaha I know! I could never afford them before on my old Naya/Tich, and whenever I would run around, I'd kill Wing Crystals, just in case. I kept the habit when I came back... Was running from Narvick to Clad to get all Warp Points, fighting crystals on the way... And got the rare thing on the side of the screen... I just about peed my pants!! Checked, and sure enough, Wing Shoes! xD!!!
Also, I'm still lvl 15. I tried to log in on the weekend, but the lag was really bad. Couldn't get past 2 Combos, so no point even trying to lvl.
Oh also.. I have NO idea what God Shoes + God Ring is :S Are they from umm.. Oh wow, I forget what that thing is called even.. That time attack thing? And isn't Skull Ring better(I think that's what it's called.. The HP% thing I think)..?

Ok, God Shoes and God RIng are set items...that give +1 on all stats when equiped together.
God Shoes come with the first guideboob which was a long time ago...so the prices on the shoes went up to like 6-10mil. >.< I bought it for 300k LMAO.
God Ring comes with the second guidebook, and it's darn expensive too...I just happened to run into a n00b who needed fast cash! >.<
Anyways...There is a ring that gives more hp to your normal hp everytime you lvl. Basically your hp multiplies every level.
Anyways...no this ring isn't better and only costs 600k. God RIng+shoes as a set will prolly go for 15mil later, after the amount has settled, and there aren't anymore.
There are limited guidebook numbers.
I don't know how many even't and stuff they have in jap version, but in korean version there are alot of events. And You should know how much wings go...Event Wings such as FestivalWings which is equipable at lvl 1 goes for around 12mil in Trevizo server...Depending on stats even more...and this wing was given during an event when the open beta started...(years ago).
So basically Lot's of High lvls will want the God Ring+Shoes set, because it's basically equivalent to having a crystal ring and Flame shoes or ice shoes...which by the way are good in stats but don't offer +2 or +3 of attack stats...
Basically God SHoes +Ring will equal the same price as a SharonHoist Mask.
I'm not sure there is a japanese version for these items...they prolly never had the guidebook releases for the japanese version... >.< TOO BAD~ Muahahaha
