Aion 3.5 Tiamat's Ruin
The latest update for Aion entitled Tiamat's Ruin is launching on October 10th and looks very impressive. Aion is truly free to play with no content restrictions and you get all of its updates for free! actually the game is pretty dead on the na servers most players don't care about anything but some new content were getting 3.5 in a week and it'll be a month of farming the new instance then what? Theres no seiging anymore most servers unless its a dominating faction can barely get enought to seige against balaur held forts.
I actually had just come back to this game a few weeks ago and see how crappy the game has truly gotten theres not pvp anymore either unless its a small zerg in they eye where players constantly xform in 1vs1 battles cause they have no clue how to play due to how easy it is to lvl up now since going f2p.
as well as they don't even pvp unless one side isn't afking in the dredge and the other doens't get an auto win so theres no point to ap anyways asmo's get lvl50 pvp welfare set now as well though theres no point being as they dont pvp they honestly should merge the 4 remaining servers into one at least then you might see some actual action besides tiamantra's eye for the 1-2 min little zergs over keymasters each day.
I actually regret wasting the time it took to reinstall this game on my comp now its nothing like it was before or ever intended to be yea I like pve content but this game wasn't designed around pve content and there still realy isn't any faction balance at all either still basically its a hope you have friends joining you when you install and begin to play kidna deal anymore as the higher lvls dont care if they lower lvl'd new ppl to get the game can get into the instance's they all grew and learned on and farmed their gear from.
I basically find this game a waste of an www. adress at this point its just like any other mmo that went into pleasing the masses GG WoW your ex players have ruined another one.
To each his own, the good thing is that there are plenty of other games out there for you. My experiece is the total opposite of yours. I am on Kahrun which is the lowest pop server and there are people everywhere. The game is full of life and the commnunity is great. I got invited to a brand new clan of new players and so far its been really fun. If you keep complaining about every little thing with a mmo you will never find one to play. Good luck
My experience on EU english servers is also the opposite except they are behind on NA updates, Aion is without dought one of the best F2P out there.
There is plenty of constant PVP or zerging in the "EYE" 3.0, I suspect he never got there.
3.0/3.5 has changed the game, some of the older maps like Iggy, players are now more spread out but that's because they have moved on to the new lvl 55-60 content which has lots more to do for both PVE & PVP players..
Aion is alive & well.
