Friend codes and alpha

Does anyone know how the friend codes and alpha testing work?

Are those who got Legend / Pioneer able to give the codes for these tests?

Has anyone successfully entered a friend code and downloaded the game?

My friend gave me one, but I have no idea how or if I can use it yet.

 

edit: Nevermind. Not available until Oct 31.

    Yeah, pretty much just a little guest pass for October 31st for 2 days or so.
