NCsoft has unveiled a new trailer and mini-site to show off the upcoming 'Glory Days' update to Lineage II. The new update focuses on providing players with "popular elements of the past with improvements and novel new features".

    After GoD, L2 can never give back those glory days. Only way to accomplish it is by removing the whole GoD expansion...

    Seriously...they need to just stop with L2...sure was good for its time, but its time is done...they need to work on another game.  Also I've never seen a game ruined by third party software as much as L2 was.  Walker was bad for the game, it literally made it so you were uber and could do everything with the bot....now Ranger, really?  Probably the most innovative 3rd party program i've ever seen.  I've been in groups where the program was set up so if a player came in our room, our entire party would stealth (or whatever it was called ) and wait for the person to leave, but if the person targeted someone in our party, the entire party would target that person, then if the person attacked the entire party would waste him.  Could even make it so if a party entered the room, our entire group would instantly focus the healer, etc.  Most people in this game even have ranger scripts for olympiad, the main pvp focus for the game.  Until they fix this type of thing, the game is just not worth playing

    stoped playing soon after the release only because of the BOTS that took the game over...then i decided to come back only to see that the whole game was over hauled and was totally diff from what i once played...only way i would play is if it had a vanilla server

    Looking foward to the update. I still play but not like I use to. Every update afther Glory Days will bring back things that people say was ruined with Goddess Of Destruction. The 32 classes are already on the way back with the Livindor update. As much as I hate alot of things that Goddess did I still have fun playing the game. Its still the only game that I will play till something better comes like ArcheAge. Sorry but I just cant do any of these quest based theme parks that people play today.

    They are dividing awakened classes back into old 32 pre-awakened classes. but it will take a while bofere that update reaches west.

    Generally I really think it is a hight time for NCSoft to seriously start working on L3.

    it was annoucned earlier this year that they had started back working on L3
