good game for gamepad/joystick

i recently converted my xbox controller into a usb plug in and i register it as a gamepad or i can switch the settings to make it a joystick. i've been looking for a game to intertain me with my own work. halo for the computer has just been dead for a while so, that didnt realive my need for a game, and america's army doesnt reconize the joysticks, so anyone know a good game i could try?
