MMORPG.com is partnering with Perfect World Entertainment to answer your questions (again!) on their upcoming free-to-play D&D MMO, Neverwinter.
We'll be collecting questions from you in the comments below. We do ask that you keep your questions focused on aspects of the game that have not been revealed yet that you desperately want information on!
Feel free to submit as many questions as you like -- but remember to be courteous and civil or you can pretty much guarantee we will not use your question!

Big D&D fan here, so I was naturally interested. I then heard there would be no pvp. I sadly took Neverwinter of my list. Today I heard there will be pvp at launch.
Could you please confirm? If so, can you give a little more insight as to what Neverwinter's pvp will offer?
Will other classes such as the Paliden, Ragner and such be added to the game as time moves on? Also will classes be like Strait fighter and wizard and not just control wizard and such?
Another question about Races will the other 4th edition races be added such as Dragonborn, Halfling, Elderain be made playable at some point?

Please explain more about pvp.
Will it be strictly arenas?
Or Arena's and open world. What about Tournaments like Hall of heros(GW1) or Chipwars from (RFO)
What will the Rules for it be like.
Will you have keep battles in pvp similar to Warhammer Online? And if so, are there going to be pvp ranks for pvp gear?
any possibility to owning a house(or building:shops,castle...etc.) in Neverwinter?
How much can a player interact about rebuilding neverwinter? (other players see what we achive?)
After the pvp system, any possibility of siege war or open pvp areas?
Crafting and enchanthing are like in D&D 4.0 or something different what we know in core books?
All the known classes so far have adjectives attached to their titles. Does this imply there will be more variations of the same class? Will players be able to be other kinds of rogues, wizards, and fighters?
How important will class diversity be for group content? Will more difficult and end-game content require a specific make up of classes.
Haflings will be at launch, already said in an interview.
What will the cash shop offer the player and will it give unfair advantages?
In terms of social options, will there be things Such as a friends list and guilds? If so, what will you be able to do with them(check online status, party up, eat.)
How will disconnects and other latency issues be handled in the game?
Here are my questions again that I would love to know more about:
How much rights do you have to create content in Neverwinter Online? Does it include the whole of the Campaign Setting or are certain aspects not going to be available due to any licencing granted to Turbine's new Forgotten Realms based expansion? Basically, since Lolth and the Underdark is in DDO, does that mean these aspects will somehow be omitted in Neverwinter Online?
Will we be able to choose our diety of worship, regardless of class, even if only for a repleplaying factor? Additionally, will we be able to choose to follow dead dieties like Mystra and Helm, for example?
I am a long-time PnP D&D player and love details and lore. How detailed will we be able to be in detailing our characters and what kind of features will Neverwinter have to promote and encourage such? For instance, I would love to see a character sheet quite detailed and similar to a PnP Character sheet, with many fields to encourage players to detail their characters. Will we have any resemblance of a true "character" sheet in which we can fill out, such as age, height, weight, relations, heratige, and but not limited to biography?

Hmm many of these question have been answers at the NWO forums if you can bother to look through it. Some quick ones, housing will not be at launch but is pretty high up in the we want to do list and there's been talk in one of the blogs of riding a spider..... anyhoot
What I want more info on is customization of builds, we kind of have been getting the tight lipped no response on this one. When i say customization I mean will wizards all be "Controller Wizards" or will you have more options like ddo.
I just have this feeling classes will be just like in Vindictus with no real customization to them.
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
Any updates on the healer class?
Any updates on closed beta, open beta, launch dates?
Can you program npcs to attack other npcs in the Foundry? I.e. I want to make part of a quest where the PCs take part in a battle scene between Neverwinter guards and invading monsters. Can the npc monsters be programmed to attack everything PC and non-monster NPC in some type of radius and the guards attacking all non-guard and non-PC in a radius?
My question is about Foundry authoring.
May we please have the ability to create 'cookies' that persist between module runs that can be used in triggers and dialogs?
Something similar to browser cookies, these could implemented as inert inventory items.
This will allow us to add much more depth to our modules. Players will be able to exit and enter our modules with a feeling of a solid persistent world by allowing NPCs to recognize player's past achievements, instead of forgetting who they are talking to everytime the module is played
EDIT: I changed the wording to be more clear that the cookies can apply only to one specific module (thats how browser cookies work right?), although..crossing modules would be pretty cool too
How does monster scaling work in the Foundry when multiple people are playing together? Do the monsters get stronger? More numerous?
Thanks.
Many of the above questions were answered. You can check this thread in which I have collected them and then ask something which was not answered.
And yes there are mounts, a spider mount is there for sure as Craig said in his twitter tweet (He was testing alpha of NW on a spider in the city).
Halflings were confirmed way back, although race page doesn't show them.
There are more variations of classes - for example there would be "Guardian Fighter" and "great weapon Fighter".
Lets ask something which has not been answered yet - character progression was not answered, PvP(There were always plans to have PvP soon after launch before the delay but it was confirmed that it will be included at launch after NW release was delayed to early 2013)

1- I know you guys already said no housing at launch, but what can we expect from other non combat/Foundry features, including gathering, crafting, cosmetics, fluff items, mini-games, etc? Standart mmo fair or something different?
2- How big can the Foundry maps be? To the size of a full mmorpg zone that can take 15 minutes or more to cross and place tons fo content and story archs inside? Or small size like a dungeon or mini-map?
when is this game being released
My opinion is my own. I respect all other opinions and views equally, but keep in mind that my opinion will always be the best for me. That's why it's my opinion.

A few previously unanswered questions (not all by me) (we were told that they would be answered later):
Q: Will stealth mean something? What about rangers and rogues?
Q: Actually on the topic of a race like genasi, how would you handle their liquid move for watersoul and flying ability for windsoul?
Q: Will we have dialogue choices?
Q: What about puzzles? - maybe a door is guarded by a magic mouth and you have to know the answer to a riddle to get past it. etc.
Q: will there be audio dialogue options available or will it all be text based? Also will there be cutscenes editors in the foundry and will there be audio features like music?
Q: Will there be aging?
Q: Can a rogue climb as in CO and launch surprize attacks?
Q: What weapons will be available(manctacher?)?
Q: Can players and/or NPC's hide within objects?
Q: Is durability implemented to weapons/armor/equipments in game?
Q: Do wizards get to use staffs in combat animation?
Q: Would rituals be implemented into the game?
Q: What role do deities play in the game? Are the deity specific paragon paths and/or domains available? Or do they plan to implement them at some time?
Q: Will crafting contain mini-games or will it be a straight-forward success or failure thing?
Q: Is it possible to 'romance' NPCs using dialogue options in foundry?
