The chronicles of Spellborn (another game I'm eagerly looking forward to) has just announced its closed beta applications are open too!
(They were open previously but it's now a huge front page link and seems to be drawing very close...so if you have a profile for beta there already it's time to update it!)
What a day for beta announcements!

Wow, very nice graphics style. Its nice to see they're not going for the conventional looks, slightly reminiscent of World of Warcraft but still very unique, its looking promising on that front.
"Players can fight with or against each other, forge alliances and control parts of the world."
This also sounds really interesting, its about time more MMO's started letting players take control of the worlds they play in, I guess how it turns out is heavily dependant on how they execute it though.

I've been following this game very closely now... I can't remember the last time I've been this excited about a mmropg without playing it! The scrolls (lore) are very well written, I suggest you all read it. The developers are really down to earth guys and gals and the community is very welcoming and hilarious to chat with. There is a lot of potential in this title.
that looks simply amazing sign me up!
Beta was announced on mmorpg.com already. I think it was either yesterday or over the weekend.

Yes, it will be P2P.
thanks, never heard of this game but it looks way cool
Well, I believe this game will be a great hit....I hope so anyway. We will know as soon as the developers actually reveal information on the features. They like to keep things quiet, and very slowly slowly leave us with something, but they are really active with the community. As I am writing this I am also joking with the developers of the game on the Unofficial Community channel (#Spellborn) hosted on Quakenet. Developers are normally on the channel during European Prime times and its really fun with them. Anyway the Lore and the game world look amazing, and I do have faith that the game will be a hit!
