Any game like Tribes: Ascend?
Looking for a MMOFPS game like Tribes: Ascend. It need to have some AOE classes/weapons since I am old and my twitch skills are gone due to getting "old" & that I havent played FPS games in over 10 years.
The game you suggest definately need to be working, unlike Tribes: Ascend which is totally ruined by bugs.

I have played Planetside, long ago. can't remember what it was, but I did not like it.
Any other games that is something similiar? I read someplace something about Halo, but can that offer something like Tribes: Ascend, with classes and/or AoE weapons?
Global Agenda isn't an FPS, but it's got jetpacks and it's made by the same company. Unfortunately, the game's pretty much dead these days. They plan on making a GA2, though.
Team Fortress 2 isn't an MMO and doesn't have jetpacks, but it has some classes that do decent splash damage and it's a pretty easy game to get into.
Plus, both games are free to play.
Firefall is probably the closest to what you're looking for.
Be warned, though, that the developer is pushing very hard on the e-sports front, and spends much less time on the PvE side.

I'm guessing what you want is something with jetpacking and rockets?
Halo has jetpacks and rockets
Shootmania also has that.
Unreal Tournament and Quake has rockets as well.
In Tribes the biggest AoE are the orbital strike, tactical strike, MIRV launcher, Fusion Mortar, and Beowulf Cannon. The disc launchers are pretty similar to rockets in many other games. If it's something like the tactical strikes and stuff you're looking for Call of Duty has kill streaks that can do similar things.
I uninstalled it from Steam then installed it from the Official site and problems gone; game ran smoothly last time I played it some days ago.
I might have a look into TF2 though as I heard some friends used to play it (or maybe still plays it).
I like playing Brute, which is the only class I get really good scores with while I either attack or defend Generator room. Good AOE with their starting gun. Thats the kind of AoE I am thinking about. Or like the Spinfusor or Thumpers.
I would consider an FPS game that has a medic; if anyone have one to recommend? I do though, refuse to install that other gaming client (cant remember the name of it from EA(?), the Origin(?); I stick with Steam and that's it.
