Has there ever been any word on the game world's size?

Hey,

I was wondering...did any of the developers ever mention how large exactly the world of Lineage II was/is? I'm especially interested in the early Chronicles 1-5.

I saw a few Making of and Behind the scenes movies and also searched for clues on google, but I couldn't find any information about the world's size at all.

What would you guess, how big is it  in numbers or compared to other games out there?

    Well it was insanely huge in my eyes back in 2004. And it's gotten even bigger over time. Nowadays though, while definitely not small, it's nothing amazing.
