in Star Wars: The Old Republic

Anyone else having this problem? I just finished downloading the game and when i login it says that. I checked that servers are up and running but still cant logon. I've tried to search for an answer but in vain... Some old cases that wont help even if i try to fix it.

The things i've tried:

-Fix launcher

-Repair

-Remove the game from firewall and put it back

-Deleted some files so that they could be downloaded again...

This really seems odd...

the best way to kill a troll is to FLAME ON! ...or with acid...

    Yeah, well it doesn't seem to be the norm. Since cant find anything but old cases of this... Like do i have to make a new f2p account to play or should my old account be f2p aswell now? Cant seem to find anyhing that indicates to that .. Well anything else than : "You have completed all the steps necessary to play Star Wars™: The Old Republic." When i login the site..

    Just log on Vanguard - FTP and 1000x more Content.

    lol.. all you have to do is go reset or change your password.  Problem solved :)

    The only thing i can think of that you had your characters on a server that have been merged and that something went wonky and that it is now trying to access the old server that is not there any more.

     I will poke around a bit and see if i can dig anything up

     

     

    Edit: Seems to be a known issue. A quick google search will give you several threads that relate to this issue.

    Actually, given how many people I have seen logged in, this is the opposite of the norm.

    However, I believe that it will be safe to say that your attitude will be the norm of people who buy too much into the anti-hype to see that the game is playable and enjoyable if you go in with an open mind.

    Since when is Tuesday a direction?

    A bug is a norm in every mmo not sure how this bug would be different then other mmos.

    I just want to say that this bug doesn't speak for the game overall, its just like saying, "SWG had so many bugs OMGAH its so fail!"

    Yeah, well i've done this too... Actually this was the first thing i did because i did not remember my password :P

    Support is only for SUBSCRIBERS. For the rest read FAQ.
