So I was flying around in my reaver, enjoying the scenery, when this complete a**hole flew up behind me in a scyth and shot me down. I reported him but they said it wasn't against the rules. Also something similar happens why I am exploring the biolab. A guy in a max unit comes up to me and punches me in the face then shoots me. Seriously WTF. This game has so many jerks that it's not even worth playing. I hope SOE crashes and burns.
Tldr; The game sucks.

Seriously, if you log into a PvP servrer and whine about getting PK'ed then you'll find little sympathy in these forums.
That's just it. They made the huge mistake and didn't put in exploration/PVE servers. So everyone on the PVP servers think they are hot stuff. Shouldn't they at least adhere to the wishes of us who want to explore the vast open world of auraxis?

If there were PVE servers you would just be running around in barren wastelands with bases scattered all over and nothing to do..
The Planetside Universe is all PVP,nothing more...

I get Pked too, it happens, but it not that bad, most of time it an accident, sometimes its not.....just respawn and move on, all games are going to have ADHD jerks
not sure if you're trolling or not.
if not..... did you actually find anything interesting in your exploration? i'm guessing no, because it wasn't designed as an exploration worthy virtual world. its just a typical PVP FPS on a much larger scale, in much larger arenas.
or maybe you were complaing about TK'ers (team killers, your own team killing each other)?

PS2 is a slow game compared to many modern FPS, often players just get bored and mow down some friendlies for kicks.
FF is one of the biggest draws for me when it comes to PS/PS2, it stops the spray-and-pray thumper brigade dead in their tracks.
I have seen all kinds of mass pk in PS2 but most of it was quite friendly or accidental and i can't think of a time i'd consider it griefing.
The community is no worse than any other FPS, granted it's worse than almost all MMORPG's, but then it's not an MMORPG, it's an MMOFPS and draws a different crowd.

I would say their is more friendly fire than anything else.
I been a victim to it several times, however you gotta take your licks in this game, you will build a calous, believe me
I think I do to. To anyone who didn't this is not a troll, it is a rather good satirical post on people complaining about lack of PvE servers on a game are PvP focus'd like darkfall.

Its a shooter game FvF (faction v faction).
Problem is people are not observant and most my deaths from allied troops is by idiots in tanks thinking they have the right away and cant drive for sh*t.
And i admit i kill my own guys when it suites me.
An engineer in the middle of a doorway...... dead mofo and his turret also.
A medic not healing or rezing while in a fire fight......... dead just like the rest of us.
An Engineer not dropping ammo or healing max....... traitors gotta die.
Im shooting at an enemy and some idiot stands out in front of me trying to get the kill......... i dont stop firing lol. Ill take the back of his head off and the guy i was shooting at to begin with.
Friendly fire, in life and in game................OOOoopppps me sorry, learn to play better to avoid this.

Like you there are tons of players, if you cant deal with the "jerks" or even the friendly fire then this game ovbiously isnt for you.
Some of us do, live with it, and have cero issues.
The point is people post threads like this for other PvP mmos and ARE serious.
