Just recently ive had my dvr set up to record the series "Family Matters" which i grew up watching and really wanted to watch through it again. Well for awhile it stoped showing on Nick at Night. but it did start up again. They went through like the last 2 seasons, and the part that pissed me off is that midway through the final season, for some reason they decided to go back to the pilot epesode, which is basically the first show that aired. So i whent from the '97 season, back to the '89 season. So they started showing the first season through again, well midway threw that they decided to show the very last eposode of family matters "Lost in Space", and only the 2nd part of that.
Man that really irritates me. Why when it comes to 90's sitcomes, do these stations skip around seasons and not show um in chronological order for anymore? Same thing with Star Trek the next generation, full house, and boy meets world. Although i did end up going through what they showed 2 times. I just wish they would show all of the shows from season 1 to the final season in order.
I may just hafta start buying the dvd box sets, or blu-ray if thats possible.

90s TV is perhaps the best years to any viewer. Not only they were great but also the younger viewers had an advantage of having cartoons enlightening the intelligence. Don't believe me? Watch freakzoid, anameniaces, any pretty much any animation related to "Kids WB" (till it became 4kids very boring and redundant shows like yugioh).
As for adult stuff, Home improvement (my personal favorite) Fresh prince of balair always made my day. Classic three stooges, X-files, Tales from the crypt, svengoolie (still runs thankfully), third rock from the sun, Frasier, Just shoot me, & who can hate bill nie the science guy (sp)?!
Anways, as TV shows progress, they went down hill all because writers decides to go on strike. It didn't solve anything, all it resulted was the tv broad casters would decide to put anything that the public are willing to watch. And you can bet your ass they achieved that, thus the script writers protesting lost. Sadly as of today, I barely watch TV compared to back then. The only notable shows worth watching now are just Rules of engagement, family guy, King of queens, Mash, Fraiser, big bang theory, & the simpsons.
Everything else is either celeberity shows (God damn I hate TMZ so much), Judge whatever, or some god awful boring distasteful 80's shows put into "Me Tv". Seriously, who's going to watch a show from when they're not even born? Sheesh. Mash, fraiser, & the Rifeman are probably the decent choices they made picking those shows. But for the kids... seriously, put WB kids back in MeTv and you'll have me hooked. I'd love to watch batman the animiated series again.
