Just a heads up, Trion is letting all former subscribers try out the new expansion for free for a few days, Dec 14-18th. They are also letting the free to play users participate in the Fae Yule World event.

    or maybe they are just running a promotion.  like 99.9% of companies do.  just becuase Cheerios are on sale doesnt mean General Mills is hurting for money.

    A logical argument, however, the jist I'm getting from friends who play the game indicate otherwise. It seems it was mainly folks who were consistently playing prior to the expansion, who ended up grabbing it.

    It's becoming a common practice in this industry, regardless of subs. Trion is only giving you 4 days though.

     Used to be hooked with Rift until the long waited Infernal Dawn raid came out,which was in my and guildies opinion ,a big crap.Since there isn't any competitive MMO out there I'm gonna test the expansion.I hope they 've made some challenging raids like Akylios,cause that was the main reason I was sub'd.I really think it worths a try.
