What's the PvP like? Is there PvP?

in Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted

Is this game like EQ where you pick your target, pick your attack, then go get coffee?

Any chance it plays like RYL?

    There is PvP, actually, but not in the way most people see it.  The test server, Blight, has a PvP Arena where two teams face off against each other. 

    No queues, no honor system, no rules.

    The PvP in Horizons is not officially supported, and as such is player accessible on Blight only.  It was created by one of the developers in his spare time.  You can find more information here.

    The most recent patch (which was a big one, and has allowed Dragon players to become Ancients) included the PvP Arenas for the live shards, Chaos and Order, but the Arena is not accessible to players on those shards.

    People who have characters on the two live shards can have them copied to Blight whenever character copies are announced.

    I played it was great...The crafting system was good...I was a dragon and that was great...but, no PVP means I can't stay.
