    Yay, now we only have to wait a year or two for release!

    A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.

    It's actually mysteriously bumped up ahead of Archeage no less than twice that I've seen, and just as mysteriously dropped back down.  Weird little battle these games are having on the front page...

    I thought by reaching a certain crowd-sourcing goal, which they did, the plans are to be for a full mmo.

    How sad it is, when both of the most hyped games will only be released(in the case of archeage, a NA/global release )on 2014+?

    And one of them isn't even a mmo

    this and AA are still a distant 2nd and 3rd behind the true hype of darkfall, don't get excited yet

    Yeah, and I hear games a year or two off from release always hit their mark!

    The fact that this is hyped up on mmorpg.com is just sad for the users of this site ;(

    Thousands of players in a single persistent universe.... Sounds like a MMO to me. I was doubtful as well until I watched the last interview with Chris Roberts here at MMORPG.com. Yes there will be instancing but planetside there will be room for 200 player instances according to Roberts. This makes it Massively Multiplayer. It may not be a RPG in the traditional sense but it definitely is a MMO.

    It's simple

    Persistent world
     where the actions and the economy affect thats.

    There will be an MMO. With instances, but stills a MMO.

    I'd say it's definitely an MMO.  Now Diablo 3, that wasn't an MMO, but its reasons for being here were pretty obvious...
