Again... 2nd game they launch/re-launch and still the absolutely worst public relations in history.... Granted its not like last time where they just strung people along for the better part of a year. But seriously... come the hell on guys.

Did you try making a new preorder account and then linking your old account to it?

When you press the pre order button you make a new account and then before you create it at the bottom is "Link old account to new one"
Edite : I had the same problem could not log in on the new website with my old account but now I can since my old account is linked to the new one, I agree its prety confusing
You need to make a preorder account first! You can even use the same username and password. Pretty easy to figure out..

I just think that they expect people to not be stupid and know how the internet works before pre ordering the game, if people already start crying and gving up on the game this fast, they sure wont last longer then an hour in the harsh world named DarkFall because they will rage quit after losing there first armor! But in all seriousness it is not that hard to find out, I posted on this website and someone was friendly enough to explain it to me and I had my accounts linked in no time!
aventurine is pretty fing retarded for doing such things, i dont remember my account name (which they need to register my new account), all i do have is my registration email (and you cant restore your password becuase the old account is gone)

Not there fault you didn't write down your account info! I have around 200+ notes in my room with account info! Its anoying to write everything down but in the end its worth it!

I am sorry but I just think its hilarious you don't want to play a game, because "YOU" where stupid enough to not safe your account info in "ANY" way! But if you want to miss out on what might be a good game thats your decision!

Lol so you are trying to say that they are actually smarter than other businesses who actually send emails to their customers who spent money with them to make transitions as painless as possible because you know they spent money with them.
Aventurine didnt even have the courtesy to send the email listed on my account that spent money with them an email saying hey its ready.
I have played f2p games that had to link my accounts because they had to make changes that have done a better job at this and I didnt even spend any money in their game so please stop trying to make Aventurine look so smart that they expect the masses to be internet savvy.

Actually it isnt they use your actual name that you registered with not the user name you created,it is nowhere in the email they sent me when I activated my code for Darkfall, luckily I remembered mine almost forgot my password though.Would have been screwed if I did because there now is no retreival option anywhere on their site none that I see anyhow.
So you put good public relations and logistics above the quality of the game you're playing? Good for you. I care about the game and then everything else is either a plus or a negative... but I'm not gonna refrain from playing what could be an amazing game simply because I'm pissed that they suck at communication.
