The list itself is aimed at veteran WoW players (or just WoW players in general) who have moved on to other games. It pretty much highlights MMO's that are like WoW or MMO's that WoW players tend to move on to.

 

Having read the list though, its a very precise and consolidated list of MMORPG's that can help any person looking for the next game to play.

    Pfft, It's still an awesome game. I remember when I first played it I was astonished at how polished the game was. I'm just so used to bumping into masses of bugs and glitches on new MMO's xD

      Rift is south korea is before Storm Legion expansion and is free to play until you have a level 50 character.  Not a bad deal but still it is a measly 9.77GB at the current time.  *SIGH*  Cannot wait until the expansion addition and giga byte-age boost.  But I still cannot help myself from feeling same with Rift like WOW, Aion, SWTOR and get boring quick.  Cheers and 'Happy' gaming, folks~!

    Thereis one glaring omission to the list, EQ2 should be 1, or at least top 5.  Its as good as any themepark on the market.

    Amazing can't believe Entropia Universe aka. Project Entropia is even a consideration by any standard.

     

    That game really had promise back in 1999 when it was in beta but turned out to be garbage.

     

    It's not really a game it's a virtual world that uses real cash to be able to play. This is not a F2P model with a cash shop. It's a virtual world where if you want like a gun to kill things you will have to spend real cash to buy it, buy ammo and repair it and that's just the beginning, beware.
