It isn't all that easy. I would scan the threads to see what type of skils you'd like to partner up with or join forces with.
Observe the forums, become active here, and always contribute.
Try to keep active conversations with others. Find out what people are good at and what clans/communities they're apart of, and find a way to meet people to play with on your free time.
Otherwise, this is like a job... your REPUTATION is also on the line. Also look out for any cheaters, which can hurt you in the long run by associating yourself with them *regardless* if you knew or didn't know they were cheating (just my 2 cents).
Hey Nicarift!
I don't play Guild Wars 2 but I understand this can be a problem sometimes. I think it would be helpful though if you gave us some idea of what you're looking for in a gaming community. For example what do you like to do in GW2? Do you Raid? Do you prefer PvP? Quests? Leveling? Roleplay?
Also what kind of personalities do you prefer? Do you prefer laid back people who just want to chat? Or do you prefer more hard core gamers that are more serious?
Other things to consider would include some of your personal likes and dislikes. I dislike gamers that constantly use expressions like "that's gay" or feel the need to harass / troll and grief. So I tend to gravitate to guilds and communities that are LGBT friendly, and less antisocial.
Once you know what kind of community you're looking for it will be easier to find it. Just my thoughts, good luck to you!
Your username sounds like a gum to help quit rift.
