Do many people play this game?

in Everquest II
I wanna join a pvp server when I get my gaming computer, just wanna try this game out and decide if I should stick with it or not. What is the highest populated pvp server? And is there frequent attacks on enemy cities? Big conflicts between good vs evil factions. I hope there is at least 6000 online 24/7 on the highest populated realms, faction numbers should also be almost equal I hope.

    EQ2 is mainly a PvE game and gets little attention towards PvP.   Plenty of people play it, but not on the PvP server.

     

    The only MMORPG that I know of that has servers that hold 6000+ is EvE.  Games like WoW and Rift cap out around 3000-3500, and even that its rare to see a full server.  In other words, EvE s your only option for that many online at once for PvP.

    Don't be so sure about that for WoW, I remember on a private server there was a cap of 4000-5000 per realm. PVP is important to me, hopefully Everquest next revives pvp.
