Blood elves official! And again: Alliance are pissed

Cant believe all the alliance people whining over the fact that horde get blood elves. Wow: no more ganking, group killing and camping Nessingwarys because the odds will finally be equal. If your one of the alliance whining over this, get a life and finally get a taste of fair odds.

and alliance: quit making posts on the World of Warcraft forums. You got night elves, we got blood elves. GG!

i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

    I play alliance, I don't whine. This is good it will make the ratio more even.

    I like that they are on the Horde. I was alittle worried how they were gonna fit it into the storyline but they pulled it off.

    Blizzard hasn't released that info yet, unsure if they will be unveiled at Blizzcon, or no. If they are, then I'm sure word will be out shortly. Just as soon as everyone recovers from their hangover enough to post it somewhere.

    This is really going to screw the population ratio on some servers.  There are already hundreds of people on my server who are planning to switch to horde as soon as the Xpack comes out.  This will totally F*** alliance since we are already out numbereed.

    All I have to say is that the have to make the alliance race as appealling or more appealing, otherwise most servers will have messed up populations.

    I saw a pic of the blood Elves on hordse in the character select screen a few weeks ago, and people thought it was fake, but it seems it's been proven true with this new update, and on the other side i saw pandaren as the playable race for alliance, so i'm guessing chances are they're going to be joining us. Be funny if a hunter could tame them for a momentary amount oftime :p

    Currently 95% of all Wow servers in the world have something like a 5/1 Alliance versus horde ratio. Your server must be a special case, and I don't think Blizzard is going to make alliance more attractive yet again because of that 5%.

    Thats the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard. 5/1 is just plain stupid. Go check your realmlist and you will see that most servers are fairly equal. Its true though that horde is outgunned on most servers but not by that much or even close to it.

    Umm.. not really.

    http://www.warcraftrealms.com/realmstats.php?sort=server From glancing on there there's only two servers (or so, not sure) 8 are outnumbered (not counting the 1.1vs1 since that's really quite even) while.. well, I can't even count how many alliance outnumbers horde. Get your facts straight. And as one of the greats would say, "And that's the facts, jack!!"

    EDIT: And the most horde outnumbers alliance is 1.4:1 while horde being outnumbered by alliance is by 1:2.9

    I don't want to start an arguement here, but you do realize it counts eery character and not just played ones.  There are several people who make chars and use them as mules for holding mat/items are whatever.  These numbers don't represent the the true playing population.

    Besides who's to say someone didn't play 6 or 7 alliance chars, get bored, and then switch to horde or vice-versa.  This means that on that account hypothetically there are 70% allinace and 30% horde but alliance are never played but counted in the server total.

    This scenario is not that unlikely.  Numbers can lie.

    But when you play the game you see that there is a inbalance. Just look at my server. Alliance waits 1 hour to join a battleground while horde joins about instantly.

    Ok, but thats assuming only alliance makes mules. Which isnt true. The population is unequal. It wont mess things up, you guys already lose BGs all the time, this will only make you lose even more OUTSIDE of BG, where numbers USED to matter.

    I like that Blood Elves are Horde, actually makes the story line more interesting. Of course, if the leak was true as to the Alliance race, then maybe I'll be a wee pissed.

    I'm hoping that a future expansion includes a demon race. ^_^

    any variable about people creating characters and switching to the horde or alliance can not be counted in the size of either faction. also, people having characters as mules can not be considerred valid. the reason for this is that any person on any server that is part of either faction is just as likely to have mules or switch sides. you can't say that only alliance playing people have mules or that only horde players decided to make 6 characters then switch sides

    Oh noes! So now we have to worry about 1 race of manginas, while Alliance still have to worry about NE females and human females (and gnome females, I think some people are into that lol)

    Oh well Blood elves rock and alliance need to suck it in they have dominated for too long

    look who cares if elves joined horde, we still dont know who joins the alliance..could be panderan but that would be stupid....maybe a whole new race......you never know....look at the undead....they fit in

    I have nothing against alliance, I have something against the alliance on the Blizzard boards whining that horde get a cool race. All I hear is "WTF, Elves dont belong on horde!" and "I hope this is a joke Blizz" and all of the other crap they spam because they are too ignorant to realise that horde will finally have even numbers, despite the fact that we have been outnumbered. They want more pretty races, and all we are asking for is a little boost in numbers. It kind of makes me mad, in a i-just-read-an-ignorant-forum-post-on-blizzard.com sort of way image
